Dalmatian Roly-Poly Isopods (Venezillo parvus) are small white and black roly-poly isopods that are one of our favorite picks for dart frog vivariums and tropical bioactive setups. Excellent burrowers, they spend most of their time working beneath the soil — making them an efficient and unobtrusive clean-up crew. Easy to keep and beginner-friendly, they prefer humid conditions and enjoy zucchini, fish flakes, leaves, and cuttlebone.

Best for: Dart frog vivariums, humid tropical bioactive setups, reptile and amphibian enclosures, beginner isopod keepers

Live insects are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY. Orders placed before Monday at 10:00 a.m. EST will ship on Monday. Orders placed from 10:00 a.m. EST Monday to 10:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, will ship on Tuesday. All orders placed after 10:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday will ship on Monday.

Live arrival is only guaranteed with FedEx Overnight. We do not ship any live insects if your temperature is below 40F regardless of the shipping option you choose. Please read our full shipping policy.

FedEx Overnight is $49 and Live Arrival is Guaranteed if your temperature is 45F to 80F. If your temps are outside of this range, contact us for official FedEx hubs that the box can be held at for pick up. (FedEx Office, Walgreens, your local postal center, etc. are NOT official FedEx hubs.)

If your temperature is 40F to 45F or above 80F, we strongly recommend requesting that your box be held for pick up in the text box above the add to cart button by typing the word HOLD or YES.
