Description
Description
Mixed springtails are our wildly popular springtail culture and for good reason - it is teeming with a variety of active springtails. This is not a skimpy culture that contains just eggs. This is an 8oz. culture with 100+ springtails on soil substrate, and it contains several species of hardy, proven bioactive appropriate springtails. Some species spend most of their time in the soil, and others stay mostly on top of the soil. It's great for arid bioactive vivariums, ant colonies, and isopod bins. The mixed springtail cultures may contain any of the springtail species we keep. We are asked frequently whether it's okay to mix springtails in an enclosure or vivarium, and, yes, it's not only safe, but it is beneficial to have a diverse population of springtails and isopods in a bioactive enclosure. Please see the listing for Large Master Cultures for large booming master cultures which contain 500+ springtails.

Arrived fast and alive, samples were very active
Springtails arrived alive and healthy! They also came with a small care sheet, which I appreciate. They were packaged well and shipped quickly!
I had bad experiences with other sellers, this however was very different. From the customer service to the packaging it was great. Springtails arrived ALIVE!! Which is something other seller struggle with, in my experience. Overall the experience was a 10/10.
