A. vulgare Magic Potion isopods are also called roly-poly bugs or pill bugs.  They are suitable for bioactive vivariums, even though they are not the most voracious cleaners.  Many people like to start a roly poly farm with Magic Potion isopods.  These isopods are also great for plant terrariums.  They are docile isopods that are slower to reproduce, and they can tolerate some dry conditions as long as they have a damp area, such as a bug den, in the habitat to retreat to as needed.  Keep Magic Potion roly-poly isopods the same as other common isopods.  Please see our blog and YouTube channel for care guides and tips.  We provide cuttlebone, and we supplemental feed fish flakes, dried shrimp, dried fish, zucchini, and squash.

Isopods will be shipped in a container of organic peat moss, sphagnum moss, and organic leaf litter.
