Description

Little Sea isopods are cute, docile, hardy, small-to-medium-sized roly-poly isopods that appear purple at times. They reproduce moderately, and they do tolerate humidity, but they will also hang out frequently on the dry side of the enclosure. We keep lots of bark and leaf litter in with them, and we supplemental feed Little Sea carrots, zucchini, squash, dried fish/shrimp, and flake fish food. Great beginner isopod. Isopods will be shipped in a container of organic peat moss, sphagnum moss, and organic leaf litter.

A thick layer of leaf litter at all times is the key to a thriving isopod colony.
