This botanical seed pod pack is ideal to use as blackwater botanicals for aquariums, biotope, betta fish, and shrimp.  The pods will produce tannins, biofilm, and act as hides.

The photos illustrate the general size and shape of the pods you will receive.  This pack contains 1 Bell cup, 10 birch cones, 10 casuarina pods, 5 bakuli pods, 3 pear pods, 1 triangle pod, 3 lotus pods, and 5 cotton flower pods.

If using in an aquarium, it is recommended to boil the seed pods for 15-20 to release some tannins and then soak the pods in water for several hours to overnight to help the pods become waterlogged and sink.  Start by adding one or two pods to see how your aquarium reacts.  Adding too many pods can make the water dark.  You can always add more seed pods as needed.
