These are some of our favorite isopods.  A must for any collection.  Very colorful roly-poly morph.  They come in a rainbow of colors - tan, orange, black, yellow.  Slower breeders but easy to keep.  We provide cuttlebone and supplemental feed our St. Lucia carrots, squash, zucchini, and dried fish, dried shrimp, and fish food flakes.  A. vulgare work well in terrariums due to their slower reproduction.  We keep vulgare isopods the same as all other common isopods.  Please see our blog posts and YouTube channel for common isopod care guides.
