Medium-sized bright red springtails on a soil substrate.  Thai Red springtails really like fish flake, and they prefer a more humid warm environment.  This is a starter culture in an 8oz deli cup on substrate with 30+ springtails. 

Springtails will be shipped in a container of organic peat moss and organic topsoil.

Live animal flat-rate USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail shipping is $18. **USPS is having significant delays and is losing boxes** Live arrival guarantee with USPS is ONLY if your temperature is 50F to 80F.

UPS 2-Day $30. Live arrival guarantee if your temps are 45F to 80F. Any supplies ordered in addition to the live animals may ship separately.

UPS Overnight Air $60. Live arrival guarantee if your temps are 45F to 80F. **NOTE: Supplies must be purchased separately or the UPS Overnight option will not be displayed if there is any product that is not a live animal in your cart.

All shipping options include an insulated box, medical grade temperature control pack,.

We ship Monday through Wednesday only to minimize the risk of the live animals being delayed in possible harsh weather conditions over the weekend.

*For USPS, if your temperature is under 50F or above 80F, the box must be held for pick up at your local hub or post office for the live arrival guarantee.  Even if you will be home to receive the package, these are live animals and they cannot survive extreme temperatures in a hot or cold delivery vehicle all day.  If your temps are below 40F, it is unsafe to ship live animals, and the animals will not be shipped until the temperature is above 40F in your area. Live arrival guaranteed for the count purchased.  It does not include any extras that may be sent.  Please read full shipping policy.

Hold for pick up can be requested by typing HOLD in text box located near the "quantity" button or in the notes at checkout.  Your order will be held for pick up at your local post office.
