Medium-sized lilac springtails on a soil substrate.  They prefer a more humid environment, and they do jump like Folsomia candida. Lilac springtails tend to stay in the soil, and they reproduce easily and moderately. This is a starter culture in an 8oz deli cup on substrate with 30+ springtails.
