Another small springtail that is about half the size of temperate springtails.  They can tolerate some arid conditions, but like all springtails that are used in bioactive havitats, they need some moisture to survive and thrive. Prospectors are slow moving and don't appear to jump.  They reproduce moderately and easily, and they work extremely well in isopod bins and vivariums.  Culture is 8oz. on soil and it contains 50+ springtails.
