Great beginner isopod.  Just like other P. pruinosus,"Powder Pink" are a medium-sized soft bodied isopod that reproduces moderately.   Pruinosus Powder Pink isopods are hardy and can tolerate a wide range of environments.  Pink isopods are very docile, and they are excellent for bioactives.  They are a very similar shade of pink as Cubaris murina Papaya.  It's hard to capture their pink color in a photograph. They are easy to keep and enjoy cuttlebone, vegetable pieces, flaked fish food, and a lot of leaves.  Their care is the same as all other common isopods.  Please see our blog and YouTube channel for care info and tips.

Isopods will be shipped in a container of organic peat moss, sphagnum moss, and organic leaf litter.

A thick layer of leaf litter at all times is the key to a thriving isopod colony.
