Lemonade Isopods (Porcellio scaber)

P. scaber Lemonade is a medium-sized, slow reproducing, yellow and gray speckled isopod.  It is a variation of P. scaber Calico.  Very unique colors.  We keep the isopod enclosure 25% damp, 75% dry with plenty of bark, leaves, and cuttlebone.  We supplemental feed carrots, squash, dried fish/shrimp, and flaked fish food.  Scaber isopods are suitable for bioactive habitats.  Please see our blog and YouTube channel for care information.  Scaber isopods have the same care requirements as other common isopods.

Isopods will be shipped in a container of organic peat moss, sphagnum moss, and organic leaf litter.

A thick layer of leaf litter at all times is the key to a thriving isopod colony.
