Great beginner isopod. P. laevis "Dairy Cow" is a crowd-favorite isopod, and one of the isopods we recommend for beginners. They are a larger white isopod with black speckles. Laevis Dairy Cows are very active, easy to keep, and reproduce quickly. They are heavy-duty cleaning isopods who LOVE protein. Dairy Cows are provided cuttlebone for calcium, and they eagerly consume veggie scraps, fish food flakes, and dried fish/shrimp. Dairy Cow isopods are kept the same as other common isopods.
