Cholla Wood

These are miscellaneous remnant pieces of Cholla.  There are 2 ounces of Cholla per package, which generally ranges from 5-8 pieces depending on the size.  Photos show examples of 2 ounces of Cholla wood pieces.  They are not perfectly trimmed, but the pieces are thin and can be broken easily to put pieces in several enclosures if desired.  The size, shape, and thickness of this natural product will vary. 

Cholla wood is the natural skeleton of a desert cactus, and it provides a place to hide for many animals.  It can be used in bioactive enclosures and aquariums.  Animals that enjoy Cholla are isopods, microfauna, fish, hermit crabs, millipedes, beetles, roaches, reptiles, arachnids, birds, etc.  It is also used for air plants and crafts.
