Powder isopods are one of the best isopods for available for sale for most bioactive enclosures or for use as supplemental feeders. 

This 100-count container of P. pruinosus "Powder Party Mix" is not a "pure" culture of Powder isopods as it may contain some Dwarf White isopods.  This container of healthy mixed-sized isopods is best for bioactive clean-up crews or as feeders.  They are an excellent cleaner crew and, they are very docile.  They can tolerate a wide range of environments including semi-arid environments.  Pruinosus are a medium-sized fast isopod. They reproduce quickly, and they have softer bodies, which make them an ideal feeder.  They enjoy lots of leaves, fish flake, cuttlebone, carrots, and squash.  Great beginner isopod.  Keep pruinosus the same as other common isopods.  Please see our blog and YouTube channel for care guides and tips.
